Tom Simmons created Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate The
Good Life Group in 2015 in Omaha, Nebraska out of a necessity to approach
real estate differently. Placing a focus on relationships over transactions has
propelled The Good Life Group into the fastest-growing brokerage in the
Omaha area and places them consistently at the top of the Omaha market. Prior
to forming The Good Life Group, Tom was the Founder/Broker of Gold Coast Real
Estate focusing on residential real estate since 2009.


When starting The Good Life Group, Tom knew that to be successful the brokerage
must grow organically as most families do. This people-first philosophy employs
Tom’s hands-on leadership to uphold a culture with an unwavering focus on
kindness, competency, and positivity. These values, along with the drive to
create a better future for Omaha, are the benchmarks for the company’s success.
Tom’s passion for mentoring means he is available for agents 24 hours a day, 7
days a week. He affords each employee and agent the same collaborative support,
emphasizing the importance of strong business ethics, honesty and integrity. He

Broker and he maintains an active role in residential sales. His extensive entrepreneurial
